We are pleased to introduce Apps Recruitment Agency, trading as Quality Medical Nursing Services (QMNS). We provide relief staff to health care facilities and would like to offer our services to you.

All our dedicated and reliable staff passed a rigorous screening process, including police clearance, NDIS workers check and working with children background checks as well as assessment for suitability to work in aged care, recent work experience, confirmation of work status and classification, proof of residency, citizenship or appropriate visa classification, will be conducted by QMNS prior to sending casual staff. They are highly trained to provide excellence in service and are committed to the welfare of those entrusted to their care.

We also ensure that our staffs have a clear understanding of the provisions of the Privacy acts, particularly Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 and Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002, to protect the privacy of patients in their care and the confidentiality of records.

QMNS have full insurance covers and will provide you with our Certificates of Currency and any information you may require regarding our agency and our services (Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Work Cover).

  • Background Screening

  • All staff must provide an Original National Police Clearance, as required by the Department of Health and Ageing prior to commencement of employment with QMNS. These are checked regularly on our computerised booking system and staffs are automatically removed if clearances have lapsed.

  • DIMIA check as required

  • Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses must have a full registration with no restrictions to maintain employment with QMNS. This is checked monthly on line with the Nurses and Midwives Board.

  • Valid seasonal Flu Vaccination and COVID19 Vaccinations

  • QMNS support and encourage education for all staff

As part of employment mandatory training is available in:

  • Manual Handling

  • Elderly Abuse

  • Infection control

  • Fire and Safety

  • Work Health and Safety

  • Donning and Doffing PPE

These must be updated as required
